johnmaher Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 While my engine was in overhaul, I took the opportunity to have the motor mount checked out. Now the problem is that the manual is not sufficiently detailed to sort out the rerigging. Could someone take a picture of the cowl flap linkage at the motor mount (open and closed) and post them or email them to n3876h@gmail.com. Tks in advance Jack Quote
RJBrown Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 His plane is a 1980 M20J. With manual cowl flaps. I believe. Quote
Jamie Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 I have an '81, and will be doing an oil change soon. If you don't have anything before the weekend (soonest I can get time to drop the lower cowl) I'll be happy to take some pics. Quote
