Guys. I must be on one of Mooney's test pilots flight path. I have seen more new planes flying around, than I have ever seen before. I hear in them in IMC, doing tests. I see turbos and O's (you can hear the difference), all are unpainted in different shades of shiny aluminum. Building this many planes makes me assume that Mooney is selling them. I know I will never be able to buy a new Mooney, but I am happy there are people that can and do buy them. Nothing really to report here other than my thoughts, but it makes me feel good knowing if I hear a single engine above, it's a better chance than not that it's a new Mooney. DF

More fuel for the fire. Tonight in the restaurant were 10 Mooney shirts. I bereated them about how long it was taking for the press release and they said "what press release" with a smile. Now why are 10 Mooney guys in my restaurant, on a Tuesday night? I didn't get into it with them, or try to press for information, but I take it as a good sign. more fuel for the fire. df

They trailer helicopters every day. Just saying. If I saw a clear path, no width issues, I would consider it as an option if the plane wasn't in airworthy condition. If all it takes is panels and paperwork, so be it. I thought the whole panel was out along with other issues.

I will agree that this seems a very fair price. If I were asking specifics.... Is ABS in and out situated by the Garmin? What about the oxygen bottle, how long till replacement? I would do probably update those before I would do the interior, if one was worried about the interior. The standard questions about reseal of course. The standard questions about doughnuts of course. Assume all AD;s are compiled with. When was the Mod Squad engine installed? The average hours of usage of the plane is 81 hours per year. I would want to know the last two or three years of usage. On first glance, these numbers seem okay, but I would want the details. Just thinking out loud. DF

A few months ago I posted that Mooney was going to make a big announcement. I know what the announcment is. ✈️ No. Not a jet. i don't know the full extent of the changes, just the major ones. Many have argued for different changes, myself included, but it is a start. David
