  1. A thumbs up from Parker is a good thing.
  2. I second the thought of looking for a loose wire or cracking solder. So many times intermittent issues boil down to a loose connection. Any updates?
  3. Certainly is easy to understand your concern. It is easy for one to say go to an MSC. I say educate yourself like you were going to the doctor. Know all the questions and ask them to your shop and get a feel for what they say. If they don't answer you in a way you feel comfortable, go to the next.
  4. Six long body Mooney's GOODNESS!
  5. Not one of these Barbarians have said welcome to you. Thanks for finding the site and welcome to the Forum. Please stay a long time and use the expertise and bountiful dry wit David
  6. Do not work for the Factory. Just a local pilot whose father was an engineer for Mooney in the early days, Who happens to know a lot about Mooney. Who got lucky talking to a few Mooney shirted folks that were in town for Meeting. Who got luckier spying something that didn't look right while doing T&G's in the rented Cessna. Who started asking questions and got feedback. Who was then contacted (not personally, through family) by the factory to shut up. I don't know enough. My fault for not vetting my announcement info. I should kill this thread I guess. Sorry everyone. DF
  7. Lance is up there in the number of Mooney's owned. TLS, Ovation, Encore (or 252, don't remember) Bravo, Bravo Am I missing one Lance? DF
  8. I agree. I don't know anything. I for sure don't know enough. I do know what I saw, and what I have been told. I was under the impression that the announcment was soon. I certainly took the information that way. I'm sorry to disappoint. The fact that the phone call even came, speaks to me to shut up. I'm with the factory also, I will shut up. df
  9. Well the fun is over. Had a call from Mooney. I did not take the call personally, as Mooney called my families restaurant, but I was asked (told) to cease and desist, my snooping. My apologies to Mooney if I have caused any ill effect as that was not my desire. DF

  11. Guys. I must be on one of Mooney's test pilots flight path. I have seen more new planes flying around, than I have ever seen before. I hear in them in IMC, doing tests. I see turbos and O's (you can hear the difference), all are unpainted in different shades of shiny aluminum. Building this many planes makes me assume that Mooney is selling them. I know I will never be able to buy a new Mooney, but I am happy there are people that can and do buy them. Nothing really to report here other than my thoughts, but it makes me feel good knowing if I hear a single engine above, it's a better chance than not that it's a new Mooney. DF
  12. Posted 45 minutes ago · Report post Okay. Here is another tidbit that I was able obtain. " there are several on the production line" That was four hours ago. DF
  13. I agree with the displaced Texan.
  14. I am not a mechanic. I say Cam spalling. DF
  15. Very nice. You have a winner there. Good luck. df
  16. I would find out where the iron is coming from. Go from there.
  17. Is that the inlet?
  18. More fuel for the fire. Tonight in the restaurant were 10 Mooney shirts. I bereated them about how long it was taking for the press release and they said "what press release" with a smile. Now why are 10 Mooney guys in my restaurant, on a Tuesday night? I didn't get into it with them, or try to press for information, but I take it as a good sign. more fuel for the fire. df
  19. I was about to say check with Rainman. Couldn't remember your Paint scheme exactly, but I thought of you.
  20. If "Yooper" is a word, so is Aircrafts.
  21. They trailer helicopters every day. Just saying. If I saw a clear path, no width issues, I would consider it as an option if the plane wasn't in airworthy condition. If all it takes is panels and paperwork, so be it. I thought the whole panel was out along with other issues.
  22. Only 18 miles? Would it be feasible to put it on a trailer and haul her? df
  23. Now that, is funny!
  24. Go Massa
  25. War what???????
