  1. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. David
  2. http://www.mooneyresale.com/view.php?ccode=122472628747488&startitem=&startpage=&endpage=&current=&make=&model=&condition= Look at this Ovation with the damage history. I'm sure the price is negotiable but it seems priced pretty low as it is. What are some things to look for here in a pre-buy situation? Thanks McStealth
  3. I heard on the radio news, four times no less in the same day last week, about how congress scolded the auto makers CEO's for flying in their corporate jets, to their meetings with congress. The CEO's then drive to DC in their respective hybrid vehicles as a response for the second round of meeteings. Not sure what is more upsetting? The fact that the CEO's flew the first time and did not drive, or that congress felt it could make an example against corporate and evenually all aviation accept comercial, or that the news makers thought it was actually news. 4. Mooney has 21 to be sold. Five on the production line to maintain certification. Sold one in November. Mcstealth
  5. Scott at Learn2flykerrville.com He is what you are looking for.
  6. Okay, please put that into some perspective/comparision. What does the Meridian do? Acclaim? What is the smallest S/E turboprop out there right now? How does that compare? I know it is pure speculation on our part but that is where it gets fun. McStealth
  7. Okay, what do you make of this when it comes to Mooney? RR wants this powerplant to operate 13fl to 15fl, certified to 22fl. Kind of makes you go "hmmmmmm." McStealth
  8. A newish airpark in the Texas Hill Coutry opened not all that long ago, but before the financial problems. All the lots sold in almost record time. The interest was amazing to me. McStealth
  9. HEY! Where is your hand? :)
  10. I am interested in starting from the ground up a partnership at ERV. I have enough for an 'F' or mabey 'J' but wouldn't mind a good F or J if more money was available. I do have a specific mission of Flying from ERV to Houston and back every third weekend. I will train IFR ASAP. McStealth
  11. I have an inside contact that I haven't exploited. Let me see if I can get some soup. McStealth
  12. Okay. A pretty penny it is for the M-20 Turbo. To compare it to real estate home buying, that $35,000 dollar swimming pool and landscaping investment only returns MAYBE 50%, maybe less. Seen this time and time again. Same apply for any modification speed mod, even one as expensive as the M-20? McStealth
  13. Quote: KSMooniac Herb, I believe that Willmar has licensed their process back to the Mooney factory/service center. You might start with them and get a quote. I'd be curious to see how their price compares to Willmar. I got a quote from them a couple of months ago for a smooth belly mod on my J, and let's just say it was quite uncompetitive.
  14. That's the one IO want. The 170kts one!!!!!!!!!!!! he he he McStealth
  15. Hey Jim. Sounds like your plane! No? McStealth
  16. What sayeth about this plane. http://www.aerotrader.com/find/listing/1976-MOONEY-M-20F-93196257 As some of you know I have been posting on the AOPA board different Mooney's for opinions and advice. Thanks in advance. McStealth
  17. Add a button at the bottom of a thread page that takes you back to the forums select page. please McStealth
  18. Quote: GeorgePerry I agree that strap hangers with no hope of ever owning a Mooney are probably not good for the site. Craig will have to do some policing as things mature.
