  2. If he removed the vac system as I did, and the E5 allows, the single max wouldn't qualify without a backup, right? I'd go for it otherwise TBH. Probably even would spring for a mfd1000 max to make it legal. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

  4. I had an E5 installed into my E model back at annual in May. First long xc I was on after install was with my IFR instructor. The E5 crashed and reset on me in flight about 5 hrs I to that trip. I brought it to my installer and said take it back, give me the G5s for redundancy. He laughed, pulled some logs and it went nowhere. I'll probably sell it at a loss and install dual G5s on my dime when the GFC500 is available for short bodies. I've put probably 80 ish hrs on it since that first crash and it's been just fine.   7. Bringing this old thread back up. If the factory is closed, what's the likelihood of getting the 310 hp upgrade STC? I flew with another who had this on his O and said you also got a gross weight increase with this too?

  13. I've got my E owned outright. Don't need to sell or partner for the money. Engine is in great health. Love the plane. Have it outfitted just the way I want. Typically love flying. Looking ahead over next 24-36 months I really won't have enough time to fly it as much as it should be. I'd like to keep the plane for traveling on fun trips with wife and pending newborn but can't see burning holes in the sky just for fun like I have been. Want to bring in one, possibly 2 partners so it keeps flying routinely. Any pointers from those who have done so successfully? Anyone want to join in with me at KDAY?   23. Was looking at flight aware for a listing of All Americans, N123BB, and they filed at 197 mph / 171 ktas at 13,000. Anyone care to comment on that performance? Im asking since it frankly seems a little slow for a bravo. Anyone know anything more regarding that plane in particular?
