I asked for a cirrus rep to be in touch with me about getting in line for an 8000 edition and never heard back. They're good but I fell thru the cracks. What's with the 5mm net worth comment?   4. Avoid the one listed in cinci in Lunkin. He's close enough to Indy you may consider him. I'd like him off the list but havnt put any effort into it. He's a real cowboy and doesn't take flying seriously enough. You got a local who offered but Indy is only 40 mins in my E. I'd be glad to share all the I learned doing my Mooney transition training. Almost for sure your insurance will want you to have transition training yourself.
  5. That was actually the last approaxh I did on my checkride last month. Shot the localizer approach under the hood using only the iPad and the geo reference on the plate. It didn't go as bad as I would have expected honestly. Would totally encourage others to give it a shot too.   9. If you have to have an AP now, I was quoted 18k for a Stec 30 system installed in my E. Still waiting to see what shakes out with the gfc500 and trutrac.   17. My moonship was kind enough to take us to the jersey breach on Saturday, 31E. It's just a few miles inland. Really cool to see all the banner towers. The saltwater spray is evident everywhere.   19. I have it on good authority that the J seats fit marvelously in an E. And they're comfy as anything. Back seat was the largest improvement by far. Thinking of redoing the E seats while they're out now and putting them back in the plane to sell the Js. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  22. Passed my IFR checkride on Monday and I REALLY like the FMS portion of the IFD box. Knowing how to use it well now, not sure I could ever go to something else. Thanks for all the pointers here y'alls.
  23. I had to go to security offoce to get my Charlie security badge when I moved in. First trip they took me thru the back way and bypassed TSA. 2nd trip I had to go thru security and forgot I always have a knife on me too.   25. Tom, I think you just made my point. We have 6 other LLCs that would be protected in my case. 3 operating entities and 3 for the commercial real estate.
