  1. Yes. I can definitely tell you work in IT...
  2. Great Stuff. Declare. Live. I got caught on top VFR. Weather called for scattered and it was solid at 3,000. Told Tower my situation. They lined me up and said "see that hole". I saw it...wink wink. Thin layer. NEVER AGAIN...
  3. I think that might be a BoDean's lyric Hank...
  4. Do you have the STC? THAT is why Laser's is a little pricey...
  5. OP likes to hear himself talk. A LOT.... Stay. Go. Fly. Die. Live. Process that.
  6. Controller.com Mooney Eagle. 1999 with under 400 total time. $160k. A tremendous value in my opinion.
  7. I have both. EI has lighted dots that give you a good quick scan reference (They just don't vary if all is well) and there is a digital value that is EXACT. Individual EI instruments are NOT that pricey. You can do one or two a year until done. In addition to MP/RPM/OIL PRES&TEMP VOLTS&AMPS you get a fuel flow and clock and are golden. An old GEM (basically free) and some new probes and you have a four probe BETTER exhaust/cylinder reference. You don't have to spend thousands for flat screen color. Certified can be done on a budget. I still had enough panel space for a panel mount 696...
  8. Eagle with "Screaming" conversion. Plenty of space with seats folded. Superior avionics and airframe (lower time) Engine a good fit. Dogs and O2 are NOT a good fit. I fly a lot at 10k and under with my Pointers in a Short Body. I put them in collapse able kennels for a couple hour flights. They just sleep. Have fun with your search.
  9. I and others have...Considered it.
  10. We will go with your answer as tube and needle guys like it. My son likes my old albums and turn table. I like Pandora. It is NOT about enjoyment. It is about upgrading to a digital read-out that provides a superior (accuracy) and upgraded aesthetic appearance that is functional better. PS-The discharge swing on the analog gauge and lack of a discharge light cost me power OUT with no warning. Never again.
  11. Do you ram the Prius or the Porsche? The Beech or the Mooney? Answer is self-evident. All his taste is not in his mouth. Ram the BEST or go home. Just paying brand M a complement. Others, not worth the effort.
  12. I am going with your "that's a good thing" thought...
  13. Not a lover, but understand that others....are. Different strokes....for different folks...and so on and so on and shoobey doobey doobey. Individual choice is a beautiful thing. THAT choice and lifestyle not for me. I don't like stickers...
  14. Go in peace my coal burnin' friend...
  15. While I see Prius and it reminds me why I would NEVER live there... Wax on...Wax off.
  16. I told you to not let Han fly the plane... What a wookie...
  17. Why do so many continue to live in the analog world? There are many digital...READ...BETTER...solutions to the "'ol six pack". The expense is NOT that significant. Why throw good money after tech that served but is no longer in the ball park as on the curve much less ahead of the curve? This is NOT CB as money toward analog is just money toward a needle that is NOT exact.
  18. Super-Cop: Your Bird is Super-Bad-Ass. Vic was indeed a fine custodian. Lot's of NICE eye candy on panel. Great choice. I can tell you are a proud daddy. Nice to have a smiling Co-Pilot along. Not an absolute essential, but A HUG VALUE to enjoy the ride. Glad you are greas'n 'em and having fun. Fly safe! and keep
  19. I like AOPA & I Like the hat. It was made in a country that took a pounding from us and eventually kicked our ass... (Not because of our troops) We should have learned from that ass kicking, but alas we did not.
  20. Not so much. I ride a Honda...Jap bike JUST like the lovely a...ladies.
  21. I apologize for whatever part I played in that retina-burning visual. Only two of the articles were eating/burning rice...
  22. Maybe 'cause I am all about more. I would be a happy F-owner. Back in the day they were "out of my price range". Fold-down rear seat AND a Johnson Bar with extra inches...THAT would be nice. I will continue to "slum" with my E.
  23. Texas, while bigger, has no dibs on the right seat gate chaser duty...Universal.
