  5. I know that plane.... hey Michael, how have you been?
  6. My E had had the ORIGINAL disk (old style), had to get new shock towers (3) to go to the new style disks. I called Dan at LASAR and had him send me ALL the parts (collars, bushings, towers, disc...etc) plus all new hardware, it was spendy for everything
  7. lol, was just about to ask for a link... LEMO plugs are delicate, most that I know just leave them plugged in
  8. The lower bolt in the tower has one flat milled on the head so it will clear on the nose gear, I paid 50ish for it 7 years ago from LASAR, all the other hardware was reasonable through LASAR
  9. not sure on value but your market just got really really small
  10. There was a 172 down here for a while that had all kinds of “Art” work on every inch of it, looked like a Low Rider with wings. It was some kinda Fugly

  12. Pretty sure that guy closed down his business
  13. We put LED strip lighting in my Mooney and buddies Cessna, no interference on either, but my LED lighting (12 8 footers) for the hangar plays hell with the radios as well
  14. Aren’t they six sided?
  15. You say it seems to be getting worse, how long AFTER the install did the problem start?
  16. Too embarrassed to post, but thanks for asking
  17. My CFI is big on checklist for the commercial, but he’s also old enough to know these older birds had very basic checklists
  18. @AH-1 Cobra Pilot no photo/video
  19. I don’t think any of the older bird of any male had an Emergency Checklist. Most of the checklists I’ve seen are a modified version from the OEM, some have an Emergency section, some don’t
  20. 10 bucks from Spruce (a few years ago)
  21. Damn that looks cold
  22. When you go back together loosen ALL flanges, clamps and joints, snug evenly in stages to keep things “RELAXED” and use “Mouse Milk” on all the joints.
  23. That whole rebuilt, overhauled, reman and new are confusing to me, haven’t really dug too deep
  24. My E doesn’t have an O-Shit handle.... not if that’s a good thing or not...
  25. Kinda why I started it...... there is 1 that pulls his in forward due to a bad back and an incline, and my next door neighbor who taxis in (uneventful so far)
