Mark Cline Posted December 9, 2025 Report Posted December 9, 2025 Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can get a cowl flap actuator overhauled or purchase a new (or working used) one (1998 Bravo)? Thanks

Mark Cline Posted December 10, 2025 Author Report Posted December 10, 2025 Thank you. I read all of those before posting here, and one of them is a thread I started two years ago with the same problem. Two years ago, I used Globe to rebuild it, but that is no longer an option. A transducer was pushed up against my current one and blocked it from reaching the limit switch. I posted here again to see if there have been any updates since October. I have exhausted every source I know of and have not been able to find any used options. I was hoping someone might have inside information on where I can find a replacement or someone willing to repair one since October.
tls pilot Posted December 10, 2025 Report Posted December 10, 2025 Call BAS in CO and see if they have a used one 1
tls pilot Posted December 10, 2025 Report Posted December 10, 2025 BTW Are you sure it is the motor and not the shear pin?
Ragsf15e Posted December 13, 2025 Report Posted December 13, 2025 I wonder how much they would charge for a group purchase? Previously they said 4 minimum. Probably need mooney or lasar to buy them from Globe/Allied. 1
