Mark89114 Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM Report Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM Just south of Afton Wyoming. I get there is a fire there, but there are no restrictions, immediately obvious. I really don't feel like cross referencing other sources. Can't they just tell me to stay out? As mentioned before the NOTAM system is a disaster.
Mark89114 Posted Thursday at 06:25 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 06:25 PM never mind, I looked up the CFR reference. Usual banning of all aircraft with a list of exceptions. Be nice if they would make it easier to understand.

This keeps the Lookkee-Lou's from clogging the area and getting in the way of the aerial firebombers, command ships, helicopters, smoke jumpers, etc.
Mark89114 Posted Monday at 06:03 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 06:03 PM I get the point of the TFR, I guess my complaint wasn't clear. The TFR posts no useful information, i.e. what are the restrictions without referencing the CFR which basically says all aircraft are forbidden, unless they are approved.

N201MKTurbo Posted Monday at 06:52 PM Report Posted Monday at 06:52 PM If there is a TFR and you are not involved in it, you are restricted.
