Just received an email regarding DeReg restructuring and no longer offering FAA and Yacht LLC services. I have my Mooney registered through them so inquiring to the audience where you register and what other folks might be doing as of 1 October.

Thanks.

There is a bunch of other companies that offered registered agents services. It's just a question paying the new company and updating the info with the state.

If I ever plan a stretch of 6+ month outside of FL, I'll re-register the airplane in FL or in my name; I just don't want to pay the tax if I don't have to but it's annoying to have to deal with it.

Question: are we talking about (a) basic FAA aircraft registration/renewal; (b) FAA-required registered agent services for those who do not have a US address, or (c) basic registered agent services to meet state corporate/company record requirements?

Thanks Paul. Yes, my thoughts exactly. I was just curious which one of the other companies might prefer but I agree. It’s been zero hassle the last 11 years.
