Vertical Compass Card Foam Replacement

I've been noticing my vertical card jumping around a lot when flying. It's getting a good amount of vibration and when I grab the compass with my hand it seems to go back to the correct heading. 

I was thinking the foam needs to be replaced but had a hard time finding it. Got some vibration dampening foam from Amazon and just replaced the old foam. We'll see if that fixes the jumping around of the heading, but has anyone else run into this issue?

The compass is a Precision Aviation PAI-700.

Yes it happens.  Since I live in the Houston area I just go over to their shop at Hobby and buy a new foam cushion.
