Like this?

it is actually my company logo and while I am from Louisiana,  I was never a big fan of the saints.  Fans had bags on their heads when I was growing up

Yes, A little higher though since no swooshes on tail.

Light versus dark on the cockpit can make a huge difference in interior temp.

I have spent many hours sitting in a vehicle at road construction sites.  And the difference between a black vehicle and a white one is significant.

I also recall an article in a motorcycle magazine about the difference in temperature between a white helmet and a black one.  IIRC it was over 10 degrees.

A shout out to Scheme Designers.  Even if you are duplicating a factory scheme, it is well worth the process of trying different colors and having a spec sheet that you can give to the paint shop.  And you can even get paint masks made up.

If you are messing around with curved lines, you do not want to rely on the paint shop guy 'eyeballing' it and laying out curves.  You will end up with some clunky lines.

What kind of money are we talking when using Scheme Designers?  Or, is it one of those, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it?" situations?

Very nice Scott, I know envy is not a good emotion but damn.  As for paint scheme well try to think about how it will age in time not the paint but the design.  Sometimes simple clean lines tend to be more timeless than elaborate swooping and swirling designs.

Hey Bonal!

I’d say whoever is actually/directly paying the bill for the paint gets to pick, but that’s just me ;)

Personally I don’t think the modern “swoosh” paint jobs are going to age well.

I’d go for a more clean and straight line paint scheme

I thought of your “dispute” when I saw this yesterday.  I say you’re a lucky man with first world problems.  Apparently it could be much worse…
