pilot716 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Its been a long 2 1/2 months but my custom design is finally on N2201! just a few details(mooney decal on tail, mooney lettering on doors, black wing walk) and then the engine gets put back on after its repair. I have put some photos in my photo gallery, thank you to all who sent scheme design suggestions in February. Quote
jezzie Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Your design is great which paint shop did you use? Quote
pilot716 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Report Posted May 19, 2012 I used Ken Reese, KD Aviation at N87, I think it is worth every penny. He worked with me when I presented the design which I created myslef using various othere schemes..His attention to detail makes it worth every penny. I have seen other designs with the sweep lines that were obvioulsy not done coreectly but his work is perfect. Highly recommended. we visited the shop once a week, to watch the progress. Quote

Cris Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 I'm glad to see that you were as pleased with Ken Reece as I was. He really does do very nice work. It also helps that he is close enough for you to have it touched up as required. The design show a lot of effort and I'll be looking forward to seeing the plane and you guys at the next fly in. Congrats. Quote
