ProtoFly Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 New to me 1970 M20F, has the original-ish Oil Pressure Filter, plus an added Oberg 600 aftermarket thing. I'm looking at removing the Oberg thing, and replacing with an AirWolf kit. Have questions that my A&P can't answer, that maybe a couple pictures of someone else's setup might answer.... Quote
RescueMunchkin Posted August 17 Report Posted August 17 (edited) What does yours look like? Mine uses the tempest aa48110-2 filter and I thought that was the original setup. Also, thank you for spelling Rajay correctly Edited August 17 by RescueMunchkin Quote
M20F-1968 Posted August 17 Report Posted August 17 I have a spin-on oil filter adapter on the Lycoming IO-360 A1A. It is not a Rajay adapter, but I think I have one if interested. John Breda Cell 617-877-0025 Quote
ProtoFly Posted August 20 Author Report Posted August 20 What I'm looking for is where the turbocharger oil feed line starts on the accessory case in a full-flow setup. My engine originally had the oil pressure screen, but in 1994, an STC'd Oberg 600 screen was fitted, and the turbocharger oil feed was plumbed to the outlet on that. Definitely not correct, and worse, the pressure sensing switch is on the wrong side of the turbo oil pressure relief/limiter valve. I'm looking to ditch the Oberg in favor of an Airwolf spin-on filter, and in the process, make things 'right'.... Quote
RescueMunchkin Posted August 21 Report Posted August 21 I'll get you a picture of the back of my engine when I can..hopefully tomorrow 1 Quote
