Hi

Does anyone have a Block time rental agreement document to share?   I am looking to buy block time on a M20C ( approx. 100hrs) and the owner and I are looking for some guidance/template to use. The agreement would be for private/recreational use only (no other users). The insurance company stipulates 5hrs. dual instruction and a sign off from a CFI.

No templates to offer; sorry.

I am curious what you are trying to accomplish?  How is this any different that renting from a school/FBO?  Are you afraid the owner is going to take your money and then not let you fly the plane?

It sounds like HE is protected once you satisfy HIS insurance company.  Make SURE you have a policy to protect YOU from subrogation from HIS insurance.  But, you don't need any 'agreement' for that.
