Clubs near Mojave / Tehachapi / Bakersfield?

Anyone know of a club that can use another member?
I am looking to join a club rather than rent an aircraft. Thanks.

I know Fox field has a strong EAA presents. Edwards is close. I frequent MHV but no “clubs” I’ve seen. 
I know a few that have built airplanes together. 
Mojave is Fun.
