Basically no matter the power setting, vacuum gauge is unreliable and the arrow is rapid/ erratic sometimes spinning all the way around the sight glass.  Seems to kind of stay within 4-6 at higher power but will start to spin again with No reason.  No low vac annunciators and all instruments seen to be working as should be.

Initial look under the glareshielf doesn't show signs of leaks. Anyone seen this before?

Got a video of that?

Sounds like a simple sensor/gauge/tube failure… if you don’t get a low vac or high vac light to go with that…

Our dry vac pumps are very digital… they either work or don’t work…

They work up until a vane breaks…

@Rotorhead

i looked up UMA vac gauges to see if they had a troubleshooting guide…

They have a trouble shooting sentence…. :)

Troubleshooting inaccurate Readings:
1.) If gauge is reading erratic first check filters in system, if clean and all lines are open and not leaking, connect a vacuum pump into the system to check instrument operation with a known vacuum source.
