Bryce E Posted June 15, 2022 Report Posted June 15, 2022 Has anyone purchased and used Just Plane Shades removable window tint? If any one has experience using this product I would be glad to hear it? For $160 dollars it seems like it might be worth trying. During the hot days we are experiencing in southern U.S. right now I am looking for ways to help remain cool for myself and occupants. I purchased a portable ac unit which works for about an hour but looking for something more for the longer trips. Quote

The GILA cling tint works well and can be cut to fit and @Skates97 has a link to it: https://intothesky.com/window-tinting/ 2 1 Quote

Maybe they have improved it but the one I have doesn't stick all that well as the frame is a bit stiff and when applied to the curved windows it has to flex which applies tension against the adhesion surface and causes it to pop loose. Also, I kept it in the plane in hot Texas and the glue that adheres the frame to the body got soft and the frame shifted. Skip 1 Quote
