Ripley98 Posted July 22, 2021 Report Posted July 22, 2021 Hello, I have a 76 f model and am needing a seal for my fuel selector valve. I contacted Don Maxwell and he said he has not heard of this particular fuel valve on this model before. Seems a bit strange to me, but wanted to check with everyone here. I got the part number but it came back as a different unit. Never have seen one with two bolts in the parts catalog. Just needing the seal for the bowl and screen. Pic is below to help aid in my horrific description Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
1964-M20E Posted July 22, 2021 Report Posted July 22, 2021 once you get it off you can measure it most likely GL-30-HD, however this one is 2"ODx1/8" thick. Mine on a 67F and has a different collator, the gasket is 1/16" thick so I get Brown aircraft supply to make the special 1/16" thick. I didn't see anything in the parts manual. gas collator seal 2" O.D. x 1/8" buna 1/6" thick special GL-30-HD Brown
carusoam Posted July 22, 2021 Report Posted July 22, 2021 There is a thread around here specifically for the screen and seal… The seal has had some difficulty in its history… There are pics that go with that… Best regards, -a-
