Awful_Charlie Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Why there's a checklist item for *that* switch Congrats to the practical Kiwis 1
sleepingsquirrel Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Just WOW! Looks like the nose wheel over-center lock got bounced from over-center and the nose wheel pulled them all up.
carusoam Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 That answers the long standing question, "how many kiwis does it take to lift a mooney?" Best regards, -a- 2

DaV8or Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Note self- If you're going to gear up, do it on the lawn and next to a bunch of Kiwis!
eldeano Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 That's just awesome. I fully expected him to just bend the prop back out and take off!!
MARZ Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Didn't look like there were any flaps in there...

Z00mie Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 I suspect the gear handle was in the up position while taxiing. He then added power and airspeed built enough unloading /triggering the gear cycle,....Thoughts?
N201MKTurbo Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 Johnson bar became unlatched, gear came down too fast for electric. 1
Hoeschen Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 I like the guy lifting on the elevator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 1
