+1000 for Greg at Advanced Aircraft. After post-purchase spot patching, another leak sprouted in my RH tank. Being fed up with leaks, I was looking at the reseal option. Since I was having my annual done with Greg anyways, I asked him to take a  look and what it would cost to get it re-sealed. He said it would run high if I were to reseal but insisted on taking a look first before recommending next steps. The fix was done for $132! :D

Greg is a genuine guy, and evident if you ever talk with him. I had a lot of things done on the plane by him this past annual, and it was done right. Absolutely pleasure to deal with.

I talked to him on the phone, seems to be an upstanding guy.

I think it depends on the model, doesn’t it?  I know he won’t seal a long body.

There is a big difference in doing a PITA job for someone who is a friend or long-standing customer and some random airplane owner you have never dealt with before.

Gregg in Troutdale doesn’t do tank sealing will only fix isolated leaks.

Correct. I contacted him last month and he said he’s no longer do reseal work.
