M20CDRIVER Posted February 21, 2021 Report Posted February 21, 2021 Hi, Does anyone know how to reset the TT on a used Horizon P-1000 digital Tach. I've heard the company is going out of business and I'm not having any luck getting in touch with them. I love the Tach, but need to adjust the hours to my engine time. Thanks.
PeteMc Posted February 21, 2021 Report Posted February 21, 2021 Per the manual, Horizon offers/offered a service to either Zero Time the or adjust the tach time. So it is possible. Has Horizon shut down already? Even if they're not doing any work, maybe they have sold off their internal service documents and they can give you contact info for a new service center.

I did read the reset instructions from the manual but I don't think that will allow me to reset the tach time. I'll probably give it a try just in case it works. Thanks for the suggestions

According to a recent thread on Beech Talk, Horizon is indeed shutting down.
