Thanks Byron and Clarence.  Laughed at the Silicone reference Clarence...good one.  Will that screw # be a certain length?  Good source for screws and sealant?  I think I "get" the countersunking now(why plexi has to be countersunk)  Thanks again.

I wouild guess aircraft spruce. You are going to need the screws about 3/8" to 1/2". At 5 cents each maybe just order 3 lengths .

I saw your pictures in the gallery and it reminded me to tell that if you're considering putting in shoulder belts, now is the time to do them!! Also think about any wiring you might want to lay in for the future, say 406 ELT or S-Tec auto pilot. Wiring is cheap and while the panels are off...
