Mooney M20P 1/5th share for sale, the aircraft is based at Cambridge Airport.  The aircraft is a M20J built in 1982 and is on the UK register.

The group have just spent in excess of £50,000.00 in the last year having all of the avionics updated and replaced, which makes this wonderful aircraft, is a go to places, full IFR, four seat tourer.

Avionics installed are two Garmin G5’s, a Garmin GTN 750, a Garmin GNS 430, a Garmin GFC 500 autopilot, Garmin GTX 330 Mode “S” Transponder with ADSB in and out, along with a King DME and a King ADF, also installed is a weather radar/storm scope and a Pilotaware system.  The Garmin GTN 750 database is updated on a monthly basis.

There is a David Clark noise cancelling system installed for the pilot and co-pilot.

The group is extremely well run and has a healthy bank balance, which will go towards a replacement engine, when the time comes to replace it.

The aircraft is hangared and is extremely secure.

The paint work and interior are in excellent condition.

The availability is excellent, as the aircraft is underused.

There are four David Clark headsets, life jackets, a PLB and a dinghy, which are included in the share purchase.

Welcome Steve!

I was at a conference about two years ago at Cambridge U, and during a rather quiet morning of less activity I had thought to maybe play hooky and go see what was going on at that Cambridge airport and I notice there were Tiger Moth flights for hire. I was oh so close to doing that and then a wave of do-gooder guilt over came me that I had better stay where I was supposed to be... well two years on .. I can't remember what I had stayed for and I regret not having gone to ride a Tiger Moth which I am sure I would have remembered fondly!

Next time!

Beautiful area.
