Fun video. Little off on their predictions of Palmdale. Van Yuys seems so much friendlier then some how. Wonder if the guy in Germany has seen this video with his F in it?

Sounded like the perfect plan. I wonder who screwed it up. I like that they showed how an airport puts money back into the local economy. Maybe our government should watch this.

It appears the Mooney really is flying, that's absolutely incredible.

I checked some statistics and it appears that the passenger volume for 1985 were pretty accurate, although John Wayne Airport was not mentioned. I guess it took the place of Palmdale, which they got entirely wrong. When I lived in the LA area in the late 80's through mid 90's I do remember PSA having service into Palmdale but it was short lived. At least the runways got to see some major L-1011 action.
