I should probably test mine at annual. No chains in the electric gear system on an F. E gear extension is part of annual. And in my mind the pilot should try it on the ground, so you don't try it the first time in the air. It adds some work load and should be done outside the pattern. Edited January 3, 2020 by Yetti
