ovation0219 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 I have a wing tip strobe out i replaced the bulb does anyone know where the power supply is? the service manual showes it bolted to the inspection plate just inboard from wing tip. Mine is not there on either wing. I have two ovations on the field and neither has the power supply on the inspection plate. anyone know where they mounted it? I have a 2000 Ovation 2 Quote
randypugh Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 My 97 Ovation has one on each side bolted to inspection plate just like you said Quote
Awful_Charlie Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 My Bravo has one (for the wingtips) in the avionics bay, on the back of the baggage bulkhead, and one for the tail strobe on the back of an inspection panel underneath the empennage (just forward of the trim hinge) Ben Quote

sellis Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 In 2000 they started mounting them in the tailcone on the avionics rack. The electrical schematic will show it mounted in the tailcone. One box powers both the left and right strobes. Quote
