Hydraulic fluid

I think the fluid is low on my E model.  The brake on the right main is mushy and my instructor believes the flaps aren't deploying all the way.  What kind does it take?

This weekend I'll trace the lines and see where it's going.  I have a good idea it's leaking some from the parking brake valve.

Thanks for the quick response.  I was able to pick it up this morning. 

A good friend is loaning me a hand pump to pump it in from the caliper location to expel any air.  I just need someone to keep an eye on the resivoir. ;-)

MIL H-5606.  but Royco 23282 is better because it doesn't get all gooey and it's basically nonflammable. it's also miscible in any percentage with 5606

you are gonna blow off some fluid if you pressure bleed.  Id get a hose barb fitting for the fill hole on the res or do what I did.  just clamp a small tube to the overflow vent.  when done open the res with a lot of rags to catch the overfill.

I haven't looked at the books but it should be this guy.

The parking brake valve has two o rings. It is easy to reseal.
