klystron Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 Possibly interested, what is the useful load and what TAS / FF do you flight plan for? Quote
kellym Posted July 24, 2016 Author Report Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Plane is typical for E model, empty wt 1645, gross 2575, for useful of 930 lbs, holds 52 gal for 312 lbs, so full fuel load is 618. Typical TAS at 7500-8500 is 153kts ROP, 147 LOP. I flight plan for 145kts to account for climb and usual 5-10kts headwind on good days. I plan on 10 gph. Can do better LOP, but I plan conservatively. Pretty much the same as other E models for performance. Built an RV-10 which is now flying, to replace it . Edited July 24, 2016 by kellym clarify meaning Quote
KLRDMD Posted July 30, 2016 Report Posted July 30, 2016 I've personally flown this airplane and can verify it is a great airplane. Quote
