Err message when trying to upload photos

I'm trying to upload my first photos to my album - but I get "Err" after it appears to load the photos. 

I've tried it using Mozilla and IE -

I've tried it using the full size photos and then resized them to make them smaller

They photos are .jpg format -

Any ideas on what's wrong?  Thanks, Karen

Looks like the disk might be full, I get an HTTP 500 return code when I try to attach a photo in-line with this message.

Probably a temporary glitch that will be corrected in the next few days.

"There was an error with your photo upload. This could be caused by a server error or perhaps you attemped to upload corrupt files or improper image formats."
