I had that happen exactly last year with an essentially DOA Slick mag (my opinion is they are pretty much crap). Go where the mechanics have been. Look into the mags. I had a mag come back from install that was not torqued/tight. Check the mag timing. Perform in flight mag check as per Shadrach to determine if it could be a plug is dropping out. Measure plug resistances. See if you can swap out a known working mag if that route look s promising. Look up baby bottle test and perform.
