N33GG Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 Looks like a great deal. Wish it had been available when I was in the market. Should be no problem to sell Good luck! Quote
prflyer Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 From the registration it looks like the airplane is in Washington state. Quote
MyNameIsNobody Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I paid over $20AMU's more for a lesser quality airframe. Wow. Good deal for someone. Good luck with your sale. Quote
Piloto Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 Love the ADF with an S meter, BFO, a tuning dial and a band switch. A real radio. Does the goniometer still works? Mine started pointing down a few years ago . José Quote
Wakeup Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 Love the look and the price!! Would be nice to have an extra 20 hp. What is the average speed for an E? Thanks Troy Quote
ryoder Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 No door panel? Is a door panel required? I like it. Looks like a nice airplane for a decent price. Quote
tonyk628 Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 So I'll pass along what I know after a couple years going back and forth with David on his plane. Â The left tank has a seep. Â The plane hasn't flown since 2010. Â Logs are complete. Â No corrosion (not verified, but he seemed on the up and up the few times we talked). Â No cowl closure, but the LASAR one is cheap. Â Glass I think was recently done (last 10 years, but also don't quote me on that.) Â Most E's cruise at about 153-155ktas, but I'll let the actual owners take care of the facts on this. Â To me it's a nice looking plane that needs some help in the panel department, but its deeper that I want to jump in, 3000 miles away. Quote
Seth Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 The guy who I know is interested is based in the DC region and he is looking for a good C, E, F, or G. Â He's hoping to find something locally. Â -Seth Quote
urbanti Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 Without firewalling it, M20E N79835 cruises 149-152 KIAS at 3,500 MSL when winds aloft are calm Tim 2 Quote
