blakealbers Posted May 9, 2015 Report Posted May 9, 2015 Lately I've noticed my TKS has had a bit on the wing after each flight only by feel not visual. Yesterday it was full on steaming out of the right outboard strip and some accumulating on the left stall strip. Wondering if this system has a setting to keep it primed or if there is something wrong. Last time I used it was January Quote
carusoam Posted May 9, 2015 Report Posted May 9, 2015 Blake, There is a really informative recent discussion on technical TKS issues... Here... http://mooneyspace.com/topic/15232-tks-woes/?hl=fluid#entry209602 The system is great for what it does, but a bit of a challenge when not used often... Best regards, -a- Quote
Cruiser Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 mine will weep for weeks after use. The hangar floor always has a couple of puddles where it drains down. Quote

If you're ever in Council Tucky/Omaha area, stop on by, say hello, I'll buy lunch. Your name sounds familiar, aren't you in the ag business somehow? Quote
Guest Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 As others have said, leaking/ weeping from the panels is not unusual especially as temps rise. Clarence Quote
