Camarillo Airshow

We flew in last year, just prior to the field closing and parked way on the North side of the field.  There are ground vehicles for transportation to/from.  It was a fun day and I don't recall feeling like I wanted to leave prior to the end of the show.  Just my opinion.

Wished I'd known about this show earlier. Camarrillo is a super easy deal for me because my best friend and my brother both live there and I always have a place to stay. However, I already have plans for this weekend. Much rather go to an airshow.

Had a great time today.  We were the only Mooney on display, but we represented.  The light must have been just right or something, because the plane looked better than usual.  Among the highlights, Clay Lacy came by and declared the plane, "really nice."  Si Roben, who you might remember as the pilot flying the yellow cub in One-Six-Right (he is opening the hangar at the beginning), came by to admire her and voice his approval.  Great show for a fly-in next year.

Thank you for doing the Ambassador display thing at Camarillo.  I am very sorry I could not come.  Last minute issues that would not allow me to do so.

I am glad you got to show Vicky to so many famous Aviators.  You have such great enthusiasm for your Mooney and for General Aviation.

See you two in Lake Taco Friday.

I think my gps database must be faulty.  I keep trying to enter "Lake Taco Municipal Airport" and...nothing!  I'll land somewhere nearby and ask for directions (wearing a Mooney Ambassadors t-shirt).  See y'all soon.
