Marauder Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 The 900 has had user warnings that can be set to any desired value for over a year now. These are completely separate from the limits, but serve the purpose. How are they set? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote

wishboneash Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 https://www.jpinstruments.com/FAQCategory/primary-instrument-alarms/ Thanks for the info. I couldn't find this page through normal navigation from the FAQs (maybe didn't try hard enough!). I would have never thought of searching for "pre-alarm". Either way, I managed to reprogram the user CHT limits to 400F, OIL-T to 195 (minimum possible) and default lean method to LOP. Quote
carusoam Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Another thing you may want to change, Sriram... The interval time that the JPI 700 uses when scrolling through all the CHT and the EGT data. The default is a few seconds. It takes way too long to sit through all the data. I found the setting while reading the manual. Unfortunately, I haven't found a setting to recommend... Best regards, -a- Edited October 8, 2015 by carusoam Quote

I still have to calibrate the %HP. Seems like there are differences between Mooney's POH numbers and Lycoming's tables for MAP/RPM/FF. Quote
