Raygun15E Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Alliance has always treated me well when I take a T38 in there. I haven't flown my Mooney there yet. Just watch for the displaced threshold when landing to the south. Otherwise KAFW is pretty easy and well managed.
BigTex Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Mike, why KAFW? I know if at least three airports within spitting distance to Alliance that's much more GA friendly that that airport? Unless you're doing business with FedEx or some other company there, I don't see any reason to go in there.

MARZ Posted November 12, 2014 Author Report Posted November 12, 2014 I did fly into Alliance this last Monday - and I have to say it was a great experience (even with the horrible winds that day) Super FBO, probably one of the nicest crew cars I've yet to get, great folks and for a larger airport the fuel was resonable. I will definately go back there again. Now lets hope I land the job.
