Mooney would have floated 1/4 of the way down the runway. Sunbather would have been safe.

I mean...I'm glad the plane didn't land on him or worse, stall right on top of him as it looks pretty darn low.

But the guy just had to lay face down right in the approach end smack in front of the runway? ...really??!

They should have issued a NOTAM! "Temporary obstructions..."

If that guy continues this behavior he'll either get cutaneous melanoma or get taken out by an airplane or both!

My German friend tells me that the runway at EDXH is too short for his Mooney 231, unless the wind speed & direction is just right.
I also understand that the pilot, a medical doctor, is now subject to license action and/or fine.
