cathead
I have a bad elf GPS I was using with my iPad 1. I now have an iPad 4 and no longer using the bad elf. I'll take $50. Pay pal works.
rbridges
worst case, you can buy an adapter for $30. It will work with the bad elf, and you can use some of your old chargers with the new ipad, too.

It seems that Apple embedded a chip which activates the socket while the cheap Chinese ones don't. I learned this the hard way. Well, maybe not that hard, the first Chinese one I bought cost me $6 only to find out that it didn't work with Bad Elf.

I bought the Apple adapter so I didn't know there were issues with the knock offs. I did have to adjust it to fit into the otterbox slot.
