What is the best way you have found to mount/use your ipad mini or even standard Ipad?

Suction cup with a magnet mount

Cup holder mount

Knee pad mount

etc

Thanks

I use the knee board and love it. I should say though, that I have a Garmin 430 and a Garmin 696 panel mounted and use the 696 for primary navigation. My iPad is for reference only. If I had no "real" GPS in the plane, I think I would prefer the Mini on a yoke mount.

As can be seen it is trial and error and we all are different, I tried thr window, yoke, side of copilots yoke etc..use the cheapest method have a knee strap, keeps a lot of sun off screen and once used to I just forget it's there also have a stratus 2 , have not turned off xm yet should though. Take a few 2 hour flights and try all places good luck, and once you find the best place you'll change it again

Just like it is with flight bags. From all the flight bags I bought, I could give out one for Christmas to every pilot I know and still have a closet full of them.

Even for me, the almighty Brightline B10 I got last year has gone through another metamorphosis to reflect my current flying needs.

Right where it should be: front and center.

I can not agree more . I have my Ipad mounted on the yoke just like flyboy0681. I am trying to get adsb traffic and weather on the Ipad for more complete picture. I run WingX and love the split screen geo referenced charts. IFR chart on one side approach plate on the other side easy to get info on the Ipad and still keep a good scan going. I truly believe this has made my IFR flying safer!
