  1. Does anyone know where I can rent travel boards locally to philadelphia....
  2. Not the parts , I spoke w/nels ....He is getting jerked around.......
  3. Why not just jump off a building and save the airplane.....Box Canyon =Death.......Try planning the flight in advance....
  4. This is a steal...... Please dont make me buy it and part it out!!!!!
  5. My A&P eeks out a living , he is way too nice a guy and people take advantage of him....When he throws in his wrench for the last time , a fair amount of these guys are going to be renters because his type is becoming a thing of the past.....If you are lucky enough to have a guy like this , treat him like gold.....There is nothing "more" than I am telling , Most people that fly a Bonanza or Mooney are paying 4 to 7 K for an annual on average.....That would put my Aviation budget over 20 K per year for the pair........More money than I could ever justify for a "hobby" If I had a license I would not sign off anyones work , no matter how good they were , So I appreciate him even more than the next guy........
  6. Could you install them? Can you sign off an annual???? If there is a problem with those tires , than he is the one who has to deal with it.....and 30% is a relatively small markup.......when the local mechanic goes out of buisness because everybody wanted to chop him on the parts , and worse yet his rate , than you are stuck with the big shops....and they dont work on a 30% margin...... Pay him what he asks , dont bitch where he can hear it or it will get back to him , and be thankful that because of him you can afford to own an aircraft , instead of being a renter.......... My A&P gets his and his familys cars fixed at my shop for free , I pay for the parts , and when I fix my plane , he signs it off , and he still gets a hundred from me every he picks up a pen..... I feel pretty lucky to have him...
  7. David clarks , 90.00 each , email for Pics... Chprskbals@aol.com
  8. My buts not ugly!!!
  9. All airplanes that cruise at the higher speeds have a narrow margin between cruise and stall.....not an issue on our mooneys as they dont get even close to fast enough for this effect......
  10. There is a light dusting , Not too many 50 year old birds with a little dust on them.... Nothing to worry about ,
  11. Oh just give him a taste...... He will be one of us in one ride!!!!
  12. It is already set up for the v type antenna , I have the antenna , and the fairing if you are interested in removing the ugly towel bar....
  13. When you pull the two side fairings that go on the fuse and float over the emp , you will see a link that is about 3/4 inch wide , by 2 inches long , with two 5/16 bolts going through it , that is the one...
  14. If mike is busy in linden.... I can give you a ride in Philly.....
  15. The binding is usually the universal joints in the trim shaft , there are two up near the wheel that will bind over the years , a little penetrating oil and some sweat equity will free them up.....
  16. Slow and mushy over 15 K in a B model.....Better have O2 and a fierce tailwind to justify the slowass climb over 10 K with 180 HP...
  17. The play is from the link between the end of the trim jack screw , and the mounting eye on the articulating emp.....The part was around 80 $ last time i purchased one , It is not a major concern , as the wind pushing on the vertical stab will not allow any play in flight.....Very common for this play to be evident....
  18. Again you are a bunch of whiners....... who cares how much the AOPA guys get paid......Frankly its no one elses buisness , and furthermore who knows what else is involved in the day to day operations of thier jobs......let me think before I answer that one.......... wait ........ wait.........wait.......... Oh got it..... NONE OF US.........You are a bunch of jealous haters ..... Stop hating ........ I would take that job if I could........Good for them ........
  19. Non profit does not mean non revenue , Its still a buisness and has to make money.....
  20. When your oil temps are 40 to 60 degrees high , you will burn it at a higher rate..... Also my pressure went up about 10 psi when I changed the gasket....
  21. Not to me , put in the correct gasket.....
  22. It specs at 8 to 30 volts , so 7.5 watts at 14 V and 3.75 at 28 volts ...(or something real close)
  23. The AOPA is a buisness , they need to make money , they are not stupid, would you rather pay twice as much , or suffer through a few letters a year....You are all a bunch of whiners.......Like my 14 year old daughter........Oh wait a minute , she has an excuse ....shes a 14 year old girl......Whats your excuse.....
