  1. Congratulations on a great achievement in your flying career! You'll be amazed at how much more practical your airplane is for travel when you can "go IFR." Commercial will be a piece of cake!
  2. GAC puts you within walking distance of some good local restaurants. There is a great breakfast place right across the street north of rwy 9/27.
  3. Looks like a nice airplane for the money and given your budget! Pre-buy it, fly it and enjoy it! Then upgrade when you can afford to!
  4. Does anyone know when/if the tail beacon will be approved for Mooneys?
  5. Know where the circuit breaker is to disable your electric trim in the event of a trim runaway.
  6. I never let passengers close doors (baggage or cabin) since most think it's like a car and they need to be slammed. Better to do it myself and make sure nothing gets damaged or pops open in flight.
  7. Looks like a nice E! Those rounded windows look great! Enjoy!
  8. Nice pics! That's a bird you can be proud of! Enjoy your trip home!
  9. I burn 9.5 GH at $5.00/gal.....so $47.50/hr, right?
  10. About $1,000/mo for 100/hrs/yr, but I'll never put that in writing....oops! Where's the "delete" button?
  11. I think I've caught glass panel envy!
  12. Great looking panel!
  13. Looked at the pics on your web page. What a great looking Mooney!
  14. I have trouble believing it will do 200 knots true!
  15. Great looking custom paint scheme on a vintage Mooney!
  16. I wow, I'm getting a headache! This poor guy just wants someone to do a simple pre-purchase inspection on the airplane he is interested in buying!
  17. 4.5-5.0k seems pretty reasonable for your first annual. Enjoy that new airplane!
  18. That is a totally awesome vintage Mooney!!
  19. Happy New Year to all of our fellow Mooney bloggers! Wishing everyone clear skies in 2019!
  20. Great looking airplane ... .enjoy!
  21. I'd opt for original 64 paint scheme (not 63) or modern 2018-19 scheme. Either "all original" for the sake of restoring a classic or modern scheme to make her look totally up to date.
  22. Sounds like a great airplane! Low TT, no damage nice avionics package. Good luck! Any pics?
