  1. Yes, I do. Every time I fly.
  2. Mine is a 68C with lots of 201 upgrades. I flight plan for 165 knots, lol....but usually do 140-143!
  3. Loving copilots are great to have!
  4. Awesome and Rockin Mooney Spouse for sure!
  5. Yes, but speed "feels so good"!
  6. That' a pretty impressive TAS Mike!
  7. That is really cool! The 6-cyl Continental must run really smooth!
  8. Very cool vid and great looking F.......nice panel and great paint job! The speed breaks are such a cool feature as well! Did you say that you had a 6-cylinder, 200 HP Continental in your aircraft?
  9. Great looking panel and love the EDM-900! Wish I had one in my C. Looking forward to seeing the enroute pics when you post them.
  10. Looks like it was a great trip! How many days? Any enroute pics, pics of the new panel?
  11. Very nice! Looks great! A new paint job is always money well spent.
  12. Heres one of my favorites.
  13. That's a great looking cowl! I like it with the larger openings as well!
  14. Nice looking airplane!
  15. Yes, both are very cool n-numbers!
  16. They sometimes stumble over my n-number as well. But I like the N676N, same number in either direction!
  17. I have a 68 M20C with a bunch of mods (inc. 201.windshield) and get 140-143kts, WOT and 2500 RPM AT 7-8,000 ft. Still searching the illusive 150 kts.
  18. Very cool. I'm based in Massachusetts where are you?
  19. The reflection of the white tail strobe off of the wings would be distracting. I'd go with the red strobe on the tail and white wing tip strobes (synchronized). Maybe keep the old-school belly rotating beacon for nostalgia......
  20. Welcome! You'll enjoy this site. I bought my 1968 C in January and joined the site a few months ago. You'll get great information here and hear lots of cool Mooney talk. I don't think that you can beat a Mooney for entry cost for a high-performance single, as well as efficiency and a passionate owner group. Albeit, they are a little cramped...
  21. I have a KX-155 as my backup radio to the 430 and it works out great. Onl it use it for ATIS and ground but it's good backup. Also has a glidescope receiver so I always use it as a backup to the 430 when shooting an ILS.
  22. One on the left is the late model hartzell (longer) M20C spinner?
  23. Mine were done before I purchased the airplane. I love them, as well as the 201 panel.
  24. Thanks! I think that that is exactly what I need. Did not realize that a 201 spinner would be a difficult fit. Will start searching for that style spinner.
