I have the JPI 730 on my K, #3 is the stock CHT. I rarely get over 370 on the CHTs' and keep the TIT below 1570. I do have GAMI's intercooler and Merlin. Pritch

I just plug the memory stick that came with my JPI 730 in and its ready to dump (all or new). Then plug it into my laptop and click on EzTrend2.exe. Pritch

13.5 years, sold my first-M20C in June 2002 and quit flying. After a while I missssseeeeddd it. Brought my second-M20K in Feb 2016. Yes I was a bit rusty, mostly on landings, but got up to speed (pun intended) pretty quick. Pritch -

According to the chart my M20K is in group 6 and requires 5000ft. At my home airport, that would put me in Humboldt Bay. I usually make the turnoff just past halfway on a 3000 ft runway. Pritch

Just curious as to how long your runway is and what speed you carry across the fence. Mine is 3000 ft and I cross at 70 to 75 kts. Also my field elv. is 7 ft, so keep those Icecaps frozen. Pritch

I was looking on Amazon this morning for co2 detectors and was ready to order, but Amazon said could not ship to address. It appears that all the detectors can not be shipped to CA because of our stupid laws about importing certain items that contain certain items that can cause certain things to its residents. Maybe we should ship Gov. Moonbeam to some other state and then CA would not allow him back in. Who want Him? Pritch

I do live in one of the foggiest places on the west coast, that why the Redwood trees are able to grow so tall, as they get a good portion of their water from fog. KACV was developed during WWII to learn how to disperse fog. Leaving the oil door open while venting the steam which only takes the time to push the plane into the hangar is enough and then put the oil cap back on and close ALL doors. Pritch
