  1. The headliner was covered in leather, the arm rest and dark grey trim on side panels is also leather, they painted the rest of the side panels, new cushions and carpeting of course. My glareshield and yokes are fine so they weren't touched. Took about 3 weeks. I have more pix and before pix on my laptop which I just uploaded to my gallery. To keep the cost down I did not opt for any embroidery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. The 32 runway looks like it slops upward, or is that just an optical illusion?

  5. Maybe you should wait it until they actually build one.
  6. Do you have to attend to get the specials? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I never notice a problem reading the blue labels, I use sun shades to keep direct sun off of me and the iPad. But I do use the Garmin flitecharts instead of FAA govt charts, I find them much easier to read.
  8. My J stall strips are symmetric FWIW
  9. I would think whatever you use should be fire resistant, hence the name., if using silicone get the fire resistant kind.
  10. I had mine done for a little over $7k, carpeting, headliner, side panels, seat belts, seats; everything but glare shield which is in good shape, I had ashtrays removed and various holes and cracks repaired.
  11. Tried it today, pretty cool, but how do I initialize the logbook with my current totals, I guess I could create a dummy entry, but is there a better way?
  12. I made up (because I forgot something): Prop Lights Undercarriage Gas Flaps Autopilot Radio Mixture
  13. I'm glad the PO of my plane already went thru this.
  14. I don't know, MSC handled it, log entry says all work approved FAA, I'll check if I have extra paperwork. They are FAA TSO-C96a Class II / TSO-C30c Type II & III approved.
  15. May be the previous owner added the timer circuitry.
  16. As you can tell from my pix, I don't have that style of wing tips, my J is a 78, the tips were added later.
  17. What's the current draw with with light off?
  18. Ok, how many of you have checked your gear up warning?
  19. I've got the 650e installed on my J, and the 500 (tail) as well. My MSC handled paperwork.
  20. But what if it's a straight in approach?
  21. Two points, 1. I imagine there is some pretty bad horror stories 2. So if planes are like women, when you are away, do you ask another guy to take out your wife, girlfriend?? [emoji6]
  22. Pickling preserves the engine, might consider wing jacks to save tires and shock donuts. Buy a good battery charger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
