  1. Wow. ..... wow......
  2. Not to derail this thread, but it's never made sense to me that these STC's are per TAIL number. If I paint my plane and change the tail number (as was done to mine in the past) the STC'S are invalid. The registration becomes invalid as well, but that's fixable. Point is that the tail number can change. But the serial number does not.
  3. Even my Eagle owning hangar mate does this.
  4. Nice. Thanks. Four years old at this point if the .pdf file name is to be believed. Makes me wonder if we don't need to FOIA another one!
  5. Granted, the number would be small, but allow me to restate: If we all requested a new certificate just to show a new expiration date, my guess is that it would greatly increase the backlog! I too would like a new certificate showing the new expiration date, but as long as the "ramp-checkers" know the score, it's OK.
  6. My 67C (670121) is center post as well...
  7. Really enjoyed the videos. Nice. I know it takes a lot of work. Well done.
  8. I do. However access to water at the hangar is 'tricky', so that's my last my last resort. Thanks for the suggestions and keep 'em coming.
  9. Do'oh! I forgot to include Simple Green in the list of things I've tried. Up to and including full strength. This was my first attempt and was surprised it didn't work.
  10. Standing by for the determination of the single point of failure. Avionics master?
  11. Great suggestion. I have some sulfuric acid here from my pool ops. I'll try that and report back...
  12. I've searched here and other places--perhaps my Google-fu skills are current/proficient--but can't find the answer to the following: Is there anything that can remove fuel stains from concrete? As you might expect, I've found lots regarding removing it from your airplane, but on concrete, not so much. See sometime back my fuel drain(s) had a slow leak that produced some fairly impressive stains on the concrete floor of the hangar; and with winter coming on and me looking for another reason to hang at the hangar, I began trying to remove them. HA! So far I've tried: paint thinner, gasoline, and on the presumption that it just might dilute itself, more avgas. Always using a brillo-pad sponge thingy and scrubbing hard with my foot I've experienced very little in the way of success. I'm open to ideas and I'm willing to try pretty much anything short of nitroglycerine since it seems to be in hard to find here with the supply chain problems and all... Does anyone have an idea as to what the 'secret sauce' might be?
  13. Are both of these belts within the tension adjustment range of the alternator? I would guess so, but it would be great to know for sure.
  14. At $79.95 EACH? Are you serious?
  15. @carusoam
  16. Very nice work.
  17. Make sure you have no carpet interfering with the j bar.
  18. I think you can make your point without the foul language.
  19. Well this is a REAL Bummer. As a former DBA of a Fortune 25 company, that should NEVER happen... Did you get a notice of the upcoming limitation? If not, someone needs to be punished!! Perhaps I or someone else could have helped save the data. I have a 200Mb/sec connection and like others have said, storage is cheap. Would have been happy to to store it as long as necessary to allow for its recovery. Perhaps a pause would have been in order. However, that appears to be "water over the bridge" now, so let's make sure it doesn't happen again. Please don't get me wrong, I THANK YOU for all your hard work. Thanks for listening.
  20. After some troubleshooting, we think the problem is the transducer, part no. SP100-110-25a. Thanks all. Will post solution later...
  21. Same model, same problem, looking for the same part! Any ideas?
  22. I flew two separate 20 minute VFR flights (to and from a local airport) yesterday. I operate out of a class D (KILM) airport, and used a distinct transponder code. Neither of the flights show on FlightAware. This is the first time this has happened to me. Has it happened to others?
