comanche Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 when the master is off the fuel pressure reads zero. when master is on the needle pegs. the mechanic said he checked the meter and he thought it was shorted. Where can I get a replacement meter? thanks in advance. Quote
sixsixX Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Check the wire connection at the fuel pressure switch. I recently had the same issue and it was the crimp on wire connector at the pressure switch that caused it. Quote
Cruiser Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 if the guage reads zero then full scale, the movement in the guage is good, the meter is measuring input. It is probably OK. I would look elsewhere before changing the guage. Quote
comanche Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 duh, that makes sense...has to be elsewhere.. Quote
