Stuff on the Glareshield

Does anyone know if there are any rules or regulations prohibiting stuff on the glareshield?  I'm talking temporary items that are velcro'd on, or attached vis suction like a GPS Area or something like that, or portable antenna.  I've been thinking about making some portable velcroed wires, pen holder, and antenna "thing" to sit up there on the rental Cessna.

Couldn't find anything in the limited Google FARs I researched.

I don't remember anything Buster. Some owners don't want things up there for fear of scratching the windshield. What about a container velcroed to the floor? I suppose the antenna is stuck.

Try to avoid sticking Velcro onto the surface. On some glareshields the Velcro glue after left some time will pull out the glareshield material or paint when removed. Older Mooneys have no glareshield surface big enough to hold anything. One option is to make your own glareshield tablet with all the stuf you want on it and just lay it over the glareshield. You can strap it to the center post.

I do not know of any restrictions regarding items on glareshield.  I have my XM antenna wedged on right corner between glareshield and plexi...
