jetdriven Posted May 8, 2013 Report Posted May 8, 2013 Them tails might be backwards on a Mooney but I never heard of one falling off. Never heard of a 20 NMPG bonanza either. 1
John Pleisse Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 This thread is dead, don't mean to add another handful of dirt. AOPA is a not for profit, association, advocating on behalf of it's membership. It is not GE or a Home Depot turnaround. Salaries should be above average, but nowhere in the league of "executive level" . It is association management, not a corporate board or executive post. I think Fuller got out because he knows Obama 2-point-Oh will be strictly regulatory in nature and hand AOPA it's worst setbacks, literally, in decades. On a brighter note, I haven't followed the new appointment, but Thomas Haines is the guy. He has been there all along, he is smooth, well groomed and can get the job done. As a pilot, he is also a good stick. The perfect guy for the job.
