I've given up trying to sell the complete system, so now I'm going to part-out the components of the KFC-200 system from my 1981 14V J.  Some components are 14V/28V so they might work for later models.

I have the following available:

KC-295 Flight Computer P/N 065-0034-15, 8130 Tag with good altitude board!  $3500 $3000 SOLD

KS 272 Trim Servo P/N 065-0029-11, 8130 Tag, $1200 $900 SOLD

KS 271 Primary Servo P/N 065-0028-05, as-removed, could use motor service  $700  SOLD

KS 270 Pitch Servo P/N 065-0027-02, as-removed, could use motor service $700

KC 290 Autopilot Mode Controller, as-removed, SOLD

KA 285 Annunciator Panel, as-removed, $500

KI 256 Flight Director, as-removed, SOLD

Trim Switch  SOLD

All components will have a 30-day checkout period.  I'm open to offers, especially if you want multiple components.

I have the wiring harnesses/connectors, mounting brackets for servos, etc. if you need any of those pieces too.

The answer is "maybe."  A coworker with an F was interested in it, and talked to Honeywell about STC coverage and transfer for an F, and they said there was an STC for the F, but it began about 50 serial numbers newer than his plane.  I didn't get the details, but if you're interested I could ask.  Fair warning though... installation will be very tedious, and/or expensive if you're paying someone to do it.  A few potential buyers with J's were scared away from that task.

I'd like to see it go complete to upgrade someone else's airplane, but after trying to sell it now for a few months I've decided just to part it out.

Just pulling a number out of a dark place... maybe 50 or more?  Hard to say.  The roll servo brackets are a major PITA.  The tailcone components aren't so bad, but access is a little awkward since you have to lean inside there to mount everything and hook it up.  There are wiring harnesses to string through the wing and fuselage (tailcone to instrument panel).  I'm sure a fresh installation that requires the fabrication of wiring harnesses is a lot more expensive, but at least in this case you would have the harnesses done.  (I still haven't removed them from the plane, though)

Needless to say, it would be a major undertaking...

I've been looking for an autopilot for my M20J. I have an aspen so not sure what bits I would need but definitely interested if it fits...

alun, it would definitely work for another J since it came out of a J.  Your Aspen plus the EA100 adapter could "drive" the autopilot and eliminate the need for the KI-256 gyro, which is a good thing to get rid of.  If you're seriously interested, you should contact your favorite shop and see about the installation task and whether or not you/they want to tackle it.  There are STC's for installation into J's, so you don't need to get a field approval.  PM me if you want further details.

Ray, I checked about the STC coverage for F's and my friend's recollection was that it began around S/N 22-1305 or thereabouts, so I doubt it would be feasible for your F.  Sorry!
